In exactly two weeks I’ll be leaving for Florida.

So I decided I’ll post a little bit about my experience with the College Program. I found out about the college program over a year ago. I was working at the Disney Store part-time and not doing much with my life after I quit going to cosmetology school. I always wanted to study Fashion Design but, always thought it would cost to much. After doing some research I found out I can start out at my local community college that supported the DCP.  SO I decided to enroll in school basically just to apply for the DCP. I was always nervous about being rejected and actually skipped applying last spring. Finally, after talking it over with my boyfriend I realized nothing will hurt me if I apply the worst would be I would get rejected (which I was expecting). As time got closer to apps going live I kept seeing rumors on Facebook of when the exact date was. On January 22nd I couldn’t sleep thinking maybe Disney will drop the apps the next day. Staring at my alarm clock the thought popped up…FLORIDA IS AN HOUR AHEAD OF HERE! So at 11:00 I rushed to the site and saw apps really did go live! I didn’t think twice about applying this time and went through with my plan to apply. I started getting nervous because after filling out the application I wasn’t getting the WBI e-mail my friend told me I should get about 10 mins after I submitted my application. Sure enough it came.
